This is what I experienced this morning...
9am-10am
Make cuppa / Burn tongue / Set down / Forget cuppa / Open blogs / Read notes / Check drafted posts / Hate drafted posts / Delete drafted posts / Play with dog / Feed the dog / Open Emails.
10am-11am
Check Emails / Respond to Emails / Read notes again / Eat cereal / Start new post / Preview post 13 times / Read post aloud / Publish post / Update social media / Obsessively check on blog post for errors / Cup of tea attempt round two / Successful.
11am-12pm
Spider diagram until ideas fall out / Write up creative writing ideas / Dog walks on laptop / Read what dog wrote / Delete dog's attempt at blogging / Check social media / Draft new post ideas / Re-read several times / Take a break.

Hit The Road Mac(s) : Why Choose The Vanlife?
I've decided to write up a post on why we chose to get a van and live in it.
In the latest travel post, I made a pro's and con's list of why we decided a van would be the best way to live, travel in and work from.
I update my travel Instagram more than I do the travel blog, so I wanted to make a post of the reasons vanlife won us over.
I'm counting down the days until I can go full time and be able to completely embrace vanlife! Not long now!

The Camper - Beffy Parkin

I am hoping to have this short poem featured in a Vanlife / Travel / Camper related publication. It's part of my writing challenges and I am just jumping head first -- if anyone can help me out with this I would be forever grateful.
I am also using this opportunity to plug my travel blog: Hit The Road Macs. Forgive me.

Hit The Road Mac(s) : Work
The van-life blog has been updated!
I follow loads of pages, Instagram accounts and groups about travelling and vanlife,
and the question of 'How do you fund your lifestyle?' keeps cropping up.
Now, I am more than aware that we're part-time at the minute BUT I have made a post about how we're planning to make money on the road. It includes working online, temp work and volunteering.
Find it here: Working Vanlife.

Hit The Road Mac(s): Blog
I have a travel blog on the go too, Hit The Road Mac(s).
It's a blog documenting my family's travels as we drive around the UK in our camper van. With a travel blog, locations are shared, as are pictures of the vehicle - it's a good idea to upload photographs or make blog posts AFTER you have left that location (for your safety).
It's a new blog, so there's not much content, but I have linked the Instagram account which is updated more often.
Vanlife seems to be very popular now, it saves people money if they're doing it full-time, and living in their van, rather than paying rent/bills. It also lets you explore more, because if you're holidaying via boat or aeroplane, you miss out what's in between.
